Abstract

Nova Lia Suanti (321810231): The Effectiveness Of Using Firing Line Strategy To Teach Reading Comprehension (A Pre-Experimental Study on the Tenth Grade Students of MAS Assalam Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2021/2022). The problem of this research is formulated as follows: 1) Is Firing Line Strategy effective to teach reading comprehension to the Tenth Grade Students of MAS Assalam Pontianak?, 2) How significant is the effect of Firing
Line Strategy to teach reading comprehension to the tenth Grade students of MAS Assalam Pontianak?
The researcher used a pre – experimental study,with one group pretest and post-test design.the population in this research students of class XA and XB numbered 69 students.The sample of this research was XA which the researcher choose used the cluster random sampling technique.
Based on data analysis in general can be concluded that there are firing line strategy effective to teach reading comprehension. As a result of the formulation of problems such research can be concluded.The result showed that
firing line strategy effective in teaching reading comprehension and there was a significant difference.
Suggested for the future researcher to present great and interisting firing line strategy.
