Abstract

This study discussed learning during the pandemic and what has been lost, this study aimed to determine the extent of learning loss that has occurred and besides that there are also aspects of learning where learning loss occurs in
schools during the pandemic, these aspects were students' knowledge, skills and attitudes. This study involved 2 schools, namely SMPN 05 Toba and SMAN 1 Toba, where the sample involved teachers and students, based on selection
research using purposive selection with 4 criteria, namely 1) Active teaching during the pandemic. 2) Art teacher (English teacher/Indonesian teacher), science teacher and religion teacher. 3) School leader or representatives.4) Students of SMPN 05 Toba class VIII and class IX each represent 2 people, students of SMAN 1 Toba class XI and class XII each represent 2 people so that a total of 16
respondents from 2 schools.
Tools in this study used interviews and the results of interviews using thematic analysis. This study used descriptive qualitative method.The results of teacher and
student interviews showed that actually learning loss and learning loss occurred in all aspects, namely students' knowledge (Lack Of Material Understanding), skills (Unable to express opinion, Less Able to Apply Materia) and attitudes (Speak The Language, behavior).
The results of this study indicate that there is a true learning loss to learning during the pandemic
