Abstract
The aim of this research was to obtain detailed information regarding the Integration of Environmental Education in Shaping Environmental Care Characters during the COVID-19 pandemic at 34 Elementary Schools in South Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were teachers, students and principals at SD Negeri 34 Pontianak city. The data collection tools are observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method used is an interactive analysis method with data validity techniques, namely source triangulation.
The results of the study concluded as follows: Implementation of the independent Adiwiyata program, SD 34 Pontianak City developed the Adiwiyata program and incorporated the concept of the environment into the school's Vision and Mission. The implementation of the independent Adiwiyata program in instilling the environmental care character of SD 34 Pontianak City students is contained in the RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) for each subject with the application of theory and practice
