Abstract

This research aims to find out how the reflective thinking process works in solving SPLDV problems in terms of extroverts and introverts. This research is a qualitative descriptive research in the form of case study research. In this research, the case that will be studied is an analysis of the reflective thinking process in solving mathematical problems in terms of extrovert and introvert personality types. The data collection tools used in this research were questionnaires, tests and interview instruments. The subjects in this research were 27 students of class X MIA 2, Karya Sekadau High School. In this research, it was concluded that the reflective thinking process in solving SPLDV questions in extrovert students was given by the stages of reacting, comparing and contemplating. Of the three questions, extrovert students were able to go through the reacting and comparing stages correctly on one of the questions. Meanwhile, at the contemplating stage, students are still less capable, because students tend not to write final conclusions. Meanwhile, the reflective thinking process in solving SPLDV questions for introverted students with the reacting, comparing and contemplating stages given, one of the students was able to go through the reacting and comparing stages correctly. However, at the contemplating stage there are still several errors.
