Abstract

This study aimed to examine the contribution of Computer Assisted Language Learning on the teaching of English vocabulary. The qualitative approach was used in the research, which used a systematic review research design (Meta-Synthesis). Several bibliographic databases were used by the researcher as part of a systematic search for publications. twelve of the 2.496 journal articles that passed the inclusion criteria out of the PRISMA diagram, CASP checklist, inclusion criteria, and Boolean operator were used in this study. The final articles were analysed using thematic analysis adapted from Braun & Clarke's (2006).
The research's conclusions showed that computer-assisted language learning contributes in four areas: student enthusiasm, learning environment, treatment session, and level. The learning environment and the students' enthusiasm for learning receive the most frequent contributions, followed by the students' level and the students' treatment sessions.
